Oils are useful in many ways to humans, such as for consumption and as application for the hair or body. For consumption purposes oils are not good and for body massage etc they are extremely useful. Our body needs oil for movement and for this applying it at least weekly once is recommended. Our hair also needs oil regularly otherwise it will become dry. Ayurvedic oils have been found to be very effective in reducing pains, aches, muscle cramps and nerve pains. Oils are used profusely in spas and parlors to keep the skin and hair supple and young. For cooking purposes, no oil is good enough.
